The queen of my collection has died

A week ago today, my massive GBB passed away. She was my second tarantula. Her passing was expected as she started to slow down two weeks before. While she can't be replaced (she was mellow for a GBB), i am working on aquiring 3-5 GBB slings to patch up the empty spot on the shelf. She will continue to be missed.

      So sorry for your loss.

My big 6"+ girl died a few years ago, and I know what you mean on the empty spot.

Surprisingly, the girl I got a year later is much more mellow, though she isn't as big.

      Sorry for your loss!

      How old was she?

Not sure of age, I got her from a pet store (sadly now closed) back in late 2014 or early 2015 and she had some size to her already.
