      TCool

Oh, we most DEFINITELY need a rosie fan club! Again, an under-rated species.... tho, in truth, I miss my girl, as she's in an endless fast/pre-molt/inactive/acting weird phase.... she is the only T to ever bite me, yet I still love her to bits.... and still handle her when I can...

Rosies can demonstrate ALL sorts of strange behaviours, are long-lived, and easy to care for...

      Aw, she's adorable, Marc!

Not to worry, tho... when Fuzzy does molt, she will have a most glorious new dress to show off!

Oh, and to the 2 of you, GREAT pictures!
JSI, that pic of Della with the mealie dangling out of her mouth is adorable! Many ppl. don't realise that a 'lowly' rosie can be a vicious feeder, especially as an adult...
Before she went into hibernation, Fuzzy had 3 1.5" hissers... even tho her mouth was full with 2 already, she just had to cram that last roach into mouth, LOL.. then briskly walked to an area near some decorative coins I gave her as a present.... right near her hide, and also once, she molted here too... Anyway, she made her 'placemat' while chewing on her 'feast', hunkered down... and leisurely ate in front of me... Even if I spun around in my chair to face her, she was just happily nomming along.... then bathed and did a little preening, again in front of me.... and that was like 6 months ago.... she's not left since... boo...
But Yea! Rosie's are great spiders!'

MF G. rosea "Orlith". I got her almost one year ago with only 7 legs. This is one of the Ts that my octogenarian mom talks to on a daily basis. :-)

LOL I need to get a camera! I've been using my cell phone and balancing a flashlight as needed for light. Makes things interesting sometimes. :-) I need a third hand in case a catch cup becomes necessary.
