      Avicularia purpurea Fan Club

      As a big fan of this species I had to start this Fan Club







      They are true , very docile, sometimes skittish, but they like to explore around mostly in the morning

      They build U shaped tunels with many entrances and I think that the height of the enclosure is not so important for them.


      I noticed my Purpendy is constantly opening or closing different entrances of her tunel and I guess that is how she controls the ventilation in the tunel





      And they love to and only stop eating a few weeks before molting.
      Purpendy molted 3 times in my care and each time it was exactly 24 days after last meal
