      Egg Sac's

Tell us if you pull your egg sac and put it in an incubator or do you leave it with mom?

I will leave it a minumum of 30days. It will allow the mother to turn the sac and has given the best results(for me). I have left only one sac with the mom, which was a versicolor, becasue I planned on rehousing her afterwards. It was pretty crazy having to watch the tank day by day but very cool too.

generally leave it with the mom as long as possible, but I'll pull it some where around 45 days. I want to see darkening nymphs or first instar. I would leave them with the mom until they emerged but it is a pain in the but to dig all the little buggers out.

i've pulled the sacs about 30 days or so and incubate them myself. I've had pretty good luck but I may start waiting longer. I admit, i get pretty antsy waiting to pull it

I pulled my last sack a bit early, so I think I'm going to push for the 45+ day waiting period. I also don't want to have to dig out fast slings with a big angry female
