New arboreal enclosure, inspired by J!m

At work we have a security guy who is an excellent carpenter and made a wooden mountain bike that can carry his 300lbs.
So I gave him a new challenge to make me an arboreal enclosure with scrap wood.
Showed him pictures of J!m's awesome enclosures and invited him home to see my Ts and pros & cons of the enclosures I have.
When he saw Ramona he said he is changing his opinion on Ts (imagine a 6,6ft guy talking to B.klaasi like it was a puppy )

      here is the final product:

      Wow very cool..
Tho does the wood not need to be varnished or something since it will be humid in there?
*Please note that ALL tarantulas have a certain amount of venom. Although most people are not affected, some people may be allergic to the venom, or just more sensitive, making it a dangerous situation. Some species of tarantulas can rub urticating hairs off of their abdomens, which can also cause a reaction, depending on the person. Affects of tarantulas' natural defenses may vary between people. If you have decided you are still going to handle your T's IT IS YOUR RISK.*
