      I went home last night and thought mine had died. I could see in the burrow a shell and thought my T had died but upon removing the shell I see he had just molted

      Hello My friends!!!

      Yesterday i stuck a cricket in with my NT which quickly ran into the T's burrow. The spider ran from it and went to the top of the container. I figured it was molting but I could not get the cricket out of the burrow. Today I wake up and go look to see how my T is doing. the cricket was at the top as well and almost looked like he was trying to get out. I say that in hopes he wasn't attacking my molting T. My T is on it's belly with its legs stretched out and I can see a part of the exoskeleton lifting. Is this position he is in OK? Do I need to flip him over? I have read it's not good to disturb molting T's. What do I do? Let nature take its course?
      Thanks for all the help,
      J-Rod :}

      They can sometimes molt in weird positions. You have to just let nature take its course and hope that he knows what hes doing, but def. don't disturb him during the molting process. Hope all goes well!

      Thanks Ryan. It has molted before but it was in the burrow at night so I didn't see how it went. This is my first time at actually seeing one molt during the day. Pretty excited but also a tad worried because of the way he looks.

      Get the cricket out, with as little disturbance as possible to your T. They are very vulnerable, and crickets are known to bite/feed on molting Ts. After you get the cricket out, leave the T be... let nature take her course.

      I wish your Nhandu a speedy and good molt.

      Nope. I looked at it yesterday morning and he had somehow gone from the top of his burrow to the bottom in another weird position. He was still in that same position when I left for work today. I feel something bad has happened. I guess I will know when I get home from work today. I'll keep ya posted.

      Best of luck! I just came in to find my A Versicilor in molt, and I'm a little nervous about it too! Hope all is well when you get home!
