The cooling is perhaps not necessary. Some do it, some not and both claim good results. Perhaps timing is more important.

Been a long time since I posted to this thread, but I thought I would update it.

So of the B hamorii slings I kept for tha sac to sell off, I also held onto 3 males and 2 females. The males are for breeding as I have 2 unrelated females, and the females are for me. One is actually for my daughter, and the other for me.

I was a disappointed recently when a friend of mine in the area was interested in a hamorii as his first T, but I had none I was willing to part with.

BUT, an acquaintance who bought one of the slings years ago offered to sell her back to me , along with an 8" A
Genic and a 2" Glat Rock Scorpuon, all for a great price. So I bought her back and am waiting for my friend to prepare to buy her off me.

Cool to have one of mine come home.
