      Versicolor sling

So it has been about a week since my Antilles pink toe moles and I have become concerned about it because in the last 4 to 5 days it hasn't been looking good. (Legs curled under, less energy) not sure what to look for to help it. First time encountering this since I am fairly new to the hobby. Click image for larger version.

So now it is sitting on the bottom of the enclosure in the substrate moving it's legs around, but not taking its belly of the substrate.

It looks to be in a curl. Try wetting a q tip and putting it under it's mouth to see if it will drink. Have you tried increasing the humidity? I would put her in an icu if I were you.

      http://www.tarantulasus.com/showthre...to-make-an-ICU

This thread explains ICUs, how they work, and how to make them. Versi needs decent levels of humidity, so if lack of moisture is the problem, then an icu could help.

Best of luck with the little fellah...

Do try giving the baby waterdrops directly into her mouth if she will let you. One drop at a time, let her absorb as much as she wants. Sounds like she is doing better already. Good luck with her, she is beautiful.

Glad she is doing better. My experience is that versis need noticeably more humidity than other Avics, but be careful it doesn't get moldy as they don't deal well with mold. Always keep the water dish filled.

Also, the colors on that small versi make me think male. Adult males are quite small. When you can get pics of it spread out, I would love to see it better.

      And welcome!
